OVIF Recording With VOIVOD Producer

Montreal thrash metal band OVIF will enter the studio next week with veteran producer Glen Robinson (VOIVOD, GWAR, ANNIHILATOR) to begin recording its debut album. According to a press release, the CD will contain 13 songs, five of which will be sung in French. Local gigs around the Quebec province will follow during the summer.

The album's projected track listing is as follows:

The official OVIF lineup consists of two musicians:

Erick Paquin (Drums, Guitars)
Jessy Bilodeau (Vocals, Bass)

OVIF is currently looking for a session drummer to complete the group's live lineup.

"Raw" samples of four songs (drums and guitar only) are available for streaming on the band's MySpace page for the drummers who might be interested in joining the project.

The complete album will be made available for download free of charge when it comes out. A full-fledged CD with lyrics and booklet will be sold as well for those who are interested.
